Retreat Terms and Conditions
These Retreat terms and conditions “Terms” are a legally binding agreement between you (whether personally or on behalf of an entity) and Hidden Leaf Baja (“Hidden Leaf”, “we”, “us”, or “our”). By accessing and using the Hidden Leaf Baja website (http://www.hiddenleafbaja.com) and any related terms and conditions or media (collectively, the “Site”), you agree to be bound by these Terms.
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be indicated by updating the “Last updated” date. It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted means you accept the revised Terms.
Eligibility and Use
- The Site is intended for users who are at least 18 years old.
- Persons under 18 are not permitted to use or register for the Site.
Retreat Check-In and Check-Out
- Check-in: 3:00 pm on the official arrival day.
- Check-out: 10:00 am on the official departure day.
- Late check-out (up to 12:00 noon) may be possible at the discretion of the Property Host.
Meals
- Not included.
- Upon booking, referrals to local chefs will be provided.
Capacity and Additional Nights
- Maximum capacity is limited. Once reached, no additional clients can be accommodated.
- Additional nights must be arranged directly with the Property Host and paid for separately.
Payments and Cancellations
- Deposits are non-refundable.
- Full payment is due 60 days before the retreat start date.
- Failure to pay in full by the due date results in loss of entry with no refunds.
- We recommend purchasing travel insurance independently.
Changes and Cancellations by Client
- Booking changes more than 90 days before the start date may incur a 5% administration charge.
- No refunds for cancellations made 59-0 days before the start date.
- No refunds for partial bookings or room downgrades.
Flights and Transfers
- Clients are responsible for arranging their own transport.
- Transfers to and from the airport are available at an additional cost through a third-party partner.
- Clients booking transfers independently are responsible for their own arrangements.
Damage and Complaints
- Clients are responsible for any damage to the property.
- Complaints should be reported immediately to the Property Host.
Health and Safety
- Clients must disclose any health issues, including allergies, before the retreat start date.
- The property is not suitable for children under 18 or people with certain physical disabilities.
Liability and Indemnity
- Hidden Leaf is not liable for any accidents, injuries, or loss of personal belongings.
- Clients agree to indemnify Hidden Leaf against any claims arising from their use of the property.
Intellectual Property
- The Site and its content are the property of Hidden Leaf and are protected by copyright and trademark laws.
- Clients are granted a limited license to use the Site for personal, non-commercial use.
Photo/Video Release
- Clients grant Hidden Leaf the right to use photos and videos taken during the retreat for commercial purposes.
Confidentiality
- Both parties agree to keep the contents of this agreement and any related information confidential.
Governing Law
- This contract is governed by the laws of Mexico, and disputes will be subject to the jurisdiction of the Mexican Courts.
By booking a retreat with us, you agree to adhere to all terms and conditions, policies and rental rules on this site.
