Baja Cuisine and Cocktails Class

On July 26th, 2024, we hosted an exciting Community Table Cooking Class at Hidden Leaf Baja, where participants embarked on a culinary adventure into the world of Baja cuisine. Our expert chef, Jon, guided attendees through a hands-on cooking experience, providing valuable insights and sharing culinary expertise.

Culinary Delights:

Participants learned to prepare a variety of delectable Baja dishes and cocktails, perfectly capturing the essence of the region’s vibrant flavors:

  • First Course:
    • Ahi tuna poke with coconut, sesame, soy, ginger, and tostones
    • Coconut and key lime margaritas
  • Second Course:
    • Peruvian style ceviche with sweet potatoes
    • Cadillac margarita
  • Third Course:
    • Shrimp aguachile verde with jicama, cucumber, tomatillos, and tortilla chips
    • Spicy mango mezcal margarita
