Meet the Heart of Hidden Leaf Baja
Hidden Leaf Baja was built from the belief that healing spaces should feel personal, not transactional. From Katia’s vision as founder — rooted in intention, inclusion, and lived experience — to the grounded presence of Jimena and Manuel who care for the land and our guests with love and precision, every member of our team plays a part in holding this space. We’re facilitators, listeners, coordinators, and caretakers — here to ensure you feel supported, seen, and able to lead (or rest) with ease.
Katia, the founder of Hidden Leaf Baja, manages daily operations. She is dedicated to making Hidden Leaf a welcoming and transformative retreat space.
After leaving Corporate America for a more fulfilling path, Katia, a first-generation Haitian American, found her calling in honoring her family's tradition of healers. Inspired by her grandmother's wisdom and her own business skills, she is committed to serving those who seek inclusivity and representation through Hidden Leaf.
Dany supports the flow of daily operations, programming, and on-site logistics. With a sharp eye for detail and a calm, reliable presence, she helps ensure everything runs smoothly from behind the scenes.
Her ability to learn quickly and stay grounded under pressure makes her an essential part of the Hidden Leaf Baja team, bringing steadiness and heart to everything she does.
Hazel is a great communicator who engages with people easily. Her strong business sense and creative approach make her a key contributor to Hidden Leaf’s retreat development and facilitator support.
She manages communications, supports strategic partnerships, and helps bring new retreat concepts to life with clarity and intention.
Jimena manages retreat production and on-site property management. With 22 years of experience in management and production, she ensures smooth logistics.
Her background in communications, art, and cinema adds to the innovative programming at the retreat center.
Our brilliant property manager known affectionately as "MacGyver" for his ingenious problem-solving skills. With meticulous care and a kind heart, he handles everything, ensuring our spaces remain pristine, beautiful, and flawlessly functional. His unparalleled attention to detail guarantees a memorable and worry-free experience for all our guests.
