How do I register for a Hidden Leaf Signature Retreat?
You can register directly through our website. To secure your spot, a deposit is required. Once you submit your deposit through WeTravel, you’ll receive a confirmation email, including available payment plan options. The remaining balance must be paid in full 90 days before the retreat start date.

What should I expect with the payment plan?
After submitting your deposit, you will be automatically enrolled in a payment plan. WeTravel will send notifications and reminders about upcoming payments, ensuring you stay informed. You can manage your payments directly through the WeTravel platform, including updating your payment method or making early payments if desired.
When should I book my flight?
We recommend booking your flight as early as possible to secure the best price and flight options. According to travel industry experts:
- For international flights, the best time to book is typically 2 to 6 months in advance.
Prices tend to rise closer to the departure date, especially for peak travel seasons. We also recommend setting fare alerts and checking flights on Tuesdays or Wednesdays, as airlines often release deals midweek.
Is transportation to and from the airport included?
Yes! Round-trip airport transportation is included in the retreat price for a Hidden Leaf Signature Retreat. You will be picked up upon arrival and dropped off at the airport after the retreat ends.

Is transportation provided during the retreat?
Yes! Group transportation is provided for all scheduled activities and outings included in the retreat itinerary. If you wish to explore town or travel independently outside of the planned schedule, you will be responsible for arranging and covering your own transportation costs.
What Meals are provided during the retreat?
Your retreat includes three freshly prepared meals per day, designed to be both delicious and nourishing to support your well-being throughout your stay.
If you have any dietary restrictions or special requests, please let us know when booking. We will confirm all meal details at least 30 days before the retreat to ensure your needs are accommodated.
How Can I Make Payments at the Retreat?
Payments for items such as treatments, taxis, or transfers at the retreat can be made via debit or credit card, PayPal, or in Pesos or USD.
What should I pack for the retreat?
Packing for your retreat depends on the time of year, as Baja California Sur has a warm, dry climate with cooler evenings in some seasons. We recommend checking the weather forecast for your retreat dates to ensure you’re prepared.
In general, we suggest bringing:

The core itinerary is carefully planned, and we fine-tune the details to ensure a seamless and enriching retreat experience. The final itinerary, including specific times and activities, will be confirmed at least 30 days before the retreat start date. You will be notified as soon as it is finalized.

Yes, filtered water is available in both the main house and casita. However, please note that the water in the dome bathrooms is not filtered.

Yes! The pool at Hidden Leaf Baja is heated and features saltwater, providing a refreshing yet gentle swimming experience. Additionally, there is a jacuzzi available for relaxation.
Do You Offer WiFi?
Yes! Hidden Leaf Baja is equipped with Starlink WiFi, providing reliable high-speed internet access throughout the property.
Is This Property Pet-Friendly?
Unfortunately, we do not allow pets on the property.

Is There a Restaurant or Bar on Site?

What Airport Should I Fly Into?
Guests should book flights to and from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) in San José del Cabo. This is the nearest major airport, providing the most convenient access to Hidden Leaf Baja.
Do I Need to Rent a Car?
Renting a car is highly recommended, as there are no taxis, Ubers, or public transportation options in our area. While Hidden Leaf Baja offers a peaceful and private setting, it is not within walking distance of most restaurants and amenities in Todos Santos. Having a car will provide the flexibility to explore the town and surrounding areas at your convenience.
How Do I Get to Hidden Leaf Baja From the Airport?
The most convenient way to reach Todos Santos from Los Cabos International Airport (SJD) is by private shuttle or rental car. We recommend arranging transportation in advance to ensure a smooth journey. The drive from the airport to Todos Santos takes approximately 1 hour and 15 minutes along a scenic coastal highway.
Can I Swim in the Ocean?
No, the beach in front of Hidden Leaf Baja is not safe for swimming due to strong currents. However, for a safe and enjoyable swimming experience, we recommend Cerritos Beach, located about 30 minutes south along Highway 19 at KM 64. This popular beach offers gentle waves, beachfront restaurants, and equipment rentals, making it a great spot for swimming, surfing, and relaxing by the water.
How Far Is Pescadero and Cerritos?
- El Pescadero is approximately a 15-minute drive south of Hidden Leaf Baja.
- Cerritos Beach is about a 20-minute drive further south from Pescadero, making it a 30-minute drive from Hidden Leaf Baja.

How Far Is the Nearest Surf Spot?
The nearest surf spot is Playa Los Cerritos, located about 25 minutes south of Hidden Leaf Baja. Cerritos Beach is one of the most popular surf destinations in Baja, offering consistent waves for all skill levels, board rentals, and surf lessons.

Do I need a visa to travel to Baja California?
For stays of up to 180 days, U.S. and Canadian citizens do not require a visa to visit Baja California or other parts of Mexico. However, a valid passport is necessary for entry.

All deposits are non-refundable, and cancellations are not permitted due to contractual agreements with our vendors. We strongly recommend purchasing travel insurance, including “cancel for any reason” coverage, to protect your investment in case of unexpected changes.

What Is the Refund Policy?
At Hidden Leaf Baja, our refund policies vary depending on the nature of your booking:

Cancellation Policy: Due to the exclusivity and limited availability of our retreats, deposits are non-refundable under any circumstances.

Please note that no refunds or discounts are offered for late arrivals, early departures, flight cancellations, travel delays, or illnesses. For this reason, securing comprehensive travel insurance is advisable.
Vacation Rental Guests:

Casita: If you cancel 30 days or more before Check-In, you are eligible for a 100% refund of your deposit. Cancellations made within 30 days of Check-In may not be eligible for a refund.

Whole Estate: If you cancel 60 days or more before Check-In, you are eligible for a 100% refund of your deposit. Cancellations made within 60 days of Check-In may not be eligible for a refund.

If you need to cancel, your payment will be applied as a credit toward rescheduling your retreat or booking the property within 12 to 18 months of the original Retreat Check-In date.
