Hidden Leaf Baja was founded to create a place where luxury and nature come together. As a minority-run business, we focus on inclusivity, diversity, and overall well-being. Our dedicated team embodies the spirit of Hidden Leaf Baja. Each member is committed to creating an environment where every guest feels supported, seen, and valued.
Katia, the founder of Hidden Leaf Baja, manages daily operations. She is dedicated to making Hidden Leaf a welcoming and transformative retreat space.
After leaving Corporate America for a more fulfilling path, Katia, a first-generation Haitian American, found her calling in honoring her family's tradition of healers. Inspired by her grandmother's wisdom and her own business skills, she is committed to serving those who seek inclusivity and representation through Hidden Leaf.
Holly handles Hidden Leaf's marketing, social media, digital platforms, web, print, PR, and ads.
Her creative and strategic approach makes her a marketing expert. Holly also supports facilitators on-site and networks on behalf of Hidden Leaf Baja to enhance the retreat experience.
Hazel is a great communicator who engages with people easily. Her business capabilities make an effective operations manager for the Hidden Leaf team.
Hazel supports our events and programming and affiliate partnerships, turning our vision into successful realities.
Jimena manages retreat production and on-site property management. With 22 years of experience in management and production, she ensures smooth logistics.
Her background in communications, art, and cinema adds to the innovative programming at the retreat center.
Carolyn Scott-Hamilton, the visionary creator of The Healthy Voyager brand and our esteemed resident chef consultant. With over 20 years of expertise as a holistic nutritionist and plant-based vegan chef, Carolyn embodies the philosophy of food as medicine. Her customized menus, crafted to accommodate dietary preferences and food allergies, nourish not only the body but also the mind and spirit, ensuring each guest's journey at Hidden Leaf is one of holistic wellness and growth.
Our brilliant property manager known affectionately as "MacGyver" for his ingenious problem-solving skills. With meticulous care and a kind heart, he handles everything, ensuring our spaces remain pristine, beautiful, and flawlessly functional. His unparalleled attention to detail guarantees a memorable and worry-free experience for all our guests.
